Job description

• To co-ordinate information and report to the Schools Business Manager and other senior staff, and individual employees on HR issues
• Assisting with updating personnel information on Carval and SIMS
• Maintain accurate personnel records in order that information can be swiftly and efficiently retrieved from manual and computerised records
• Responsibility for obtaining, recording and updating Disclosure and Barring Service checks for all staff and maintaining the Single Central Record
• Issue, maintain, update and change contracts as appropriate

Essential educational requirements

GCSE English and Maths or equivalent e.g. Adult Literacy/Numeracy at level 2
NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in a relevant disciple

Essential qualifications

GCSE English and Maths or equivalent e.g. Adult Literacy/Numeracy at level 2
NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in a relevant disciple

Essential skills and experience

A good understanding and knowledge of human resources and employment law and ensuring the HR department conforms to these is key
Excellent customer service skills
Implementation of services, policies, and programs
