HR Administrator job summary
Are you highly organised, approachable, and passionate about supporting others? Cornelius Vermuyden School is seeking a dedicated HR Administrator to join our friendly team.
As HR Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth running of our school’s HR operations. Working closely with the Headteacher, SEEAT HR Manager and senior leadership team, you will ensure the efficient delivery of a range of HR functions including:
- Recruitment administration and onboarding of new staff following a safer recruitment procedure
- Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems
- Supporting with absence monitoring and return-to-work processes
- Coordinating training and compliance checks (e.g. safeguarding, DBS)
- Assisting with HR queries from staff and line managers
We are looking for a professional, proactive individual who:
- has strong administrative and organisational skills
- is confident using HR systems, databases, and Microsoft Office
- has excellent attention to detail and can maintain confidentiality
- can prioritise workload and work well under pressure
