HR Adviser job summary
Are you passionate about delivering high-quality HR support and driving best practice across a dynamic, multi-site organisation? Wandle Learning Trust is seeking an experienced HR professional to join our central team and play a key role in supporting our schools and services.
About the Role
As HR Adviser, you will:
- Support school/service based HR Leads with systems, processes, and compliance.
- Manage and oversee recruitment and onboarding, ensuring compliance with safeguarding and statutory requirements.
- Maintain accurate employee records, including payroll changes and the Single Central Record.
- Provide professional HR advice and guidance to school leaders and HR teams across the Trust.
- Contribute to policy development, project work, and implementation of the Trust’s HR strategy.
What We’re Looking For
- CIPD Level 3 (essential); Level 5 (desirable).
- Strong experience in HR administration and advisory work, ideally within education or a multi-site organisation.
- Excellent knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Skilled in HR systems and Microsoft Office, with exceptional attention to detail.
- A proactive, organised team player with outstanding communication skills and a commitment to safeguarding and equality.

Wandle Learning Trust, a growing Multi Academy Trust based in South London, currently comprising of two secondary schools and eight primary schools. The Trust also runs the Wandle Learning Partnership, which oversees our English, Maths and Teaching DfE Hubs, as well as our sector leading phonics programme, Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Revised.
