HR Advisor job summary

You will be based at our new primary school in Milton Keynes but will work across a number of local schools as and when required and so a full driving licence is a must.

You will be required to be CIPD qualified or equivalent and will have some experience of advising managers and employees on a variety of HR matters or queries. This is a varied, busy role and you will be a main contact for schools within the Trust in relation to HR matters so up to date knowledge of employment law and HR best practice is important. You will be a trusted advisor, assisting and supporting managers at all levels in the people management of their departments, advising on disciplinary, absence or capability issues when they arise. You will report to the HR Manager who will act as a coach and mentor.

As a result of ongoing growth, we have a busy recruitment plan over the next 3-5 years and you will be responsible for all stages of this, with the support of the HR Assistants.
