Vacancy for HR Assistant

Salary: Meridian Trust Grade 5, Point 5-7

Hours: 20 hours, which can be worked over 3, 4 or 5 days, 39 weeks per year (term-time +5 training days)

We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Assistant to join our team at Ely College! You will provide valuable support to the HR Officer, with particular focus on the recruitment and appointment of new staff and administrative support for the employee lifecycle.

The opportunity

  • To join a fun, enthusiastic team.
  • Gaining HR experience and knowledge within a support environment.
  • Creating and maintain HR reports and spreadsheets.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team.
  • Processing, filing and distributing confidential reports and documents.

The ideal candidate

  • Good educational background including GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths.
  • High level of organisation skills.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills and integrity.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks appropriately.
  • Confident and approachable manner.
