The Role: HR People Manager - Strategic Operator and Culture Champion

We are seeking an experienced HR practitioner to be the driving force behind our people strategy. This role is about supporting the strategic vision of our Trust and ensuring our 14 schools receive hands on, practical day to day support, advice and guidance.

You will be the link between our central team and our schools, tasked with:

  • Shaping the People Strategy: Proactively developing and implementing an HR strategy across school communities and the Central Team to achieve operational excellence.
  • Inspiring and Developing Teams: Collaborating with leaders to build, motivate, and develop outstanding staff across the schools.
  • Championing the Vision: Role-modelling the commitment necessary to fulfil the St Barnabas MAT vision.
  • Prioritising Safety: Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of all pupils and staff, ensuring every employee and volunteer is vetted and trained to the highest standard.
  • Collaborative Improvement: Providing the right balance of challenge, collaboration, and support to help school leaders raise standards in teaching and learning.
