What skills and experience we're looking for
The school is looking to appoint an experienced humanities teacher, who may be able to lead on the development and implementation of statutory PSHE and RE provision.
The school has a well-established PSHE programme and is committed to high quality and progressive work in this area. A key responsibility will be continuing the implementation of revised guidance on Relationships and Sex Education and Personal, Social Health and Economic Education.
Religious Education is also well developed in years 7-9 and is an increasingly popular subject at GCSE in years 10 and 11. The school is reviewing this to best meet local SACRE guidelines in years 10-11 and the appointed person will be responsible for learning this area of school development.

Potential for a TLR for Acting Head of Citizenship, PSHE and RE for the right candidate, one year contract in the first instance.
Salary grade: Inner London scale plus £2,873 [TLR 2.1] (if appointed to Head of Citizenship, PSHE and RE. Negotiable for the right candidate)
