ICT Technician Apprentice job summary

We are looking for an IT Apprentice at Broadland High Ormiston Academy. This is a great opportunity for an individual who is looking for the next growth step in their career to gain a qualification alongside experience of work in a busy, friendly school. In this role you will work as part of our IT team delivering high quality support services. You will be working with the Network Manager to provide a comprehensive and effective technical support service to our students and staff. The position is offered on the basis of working 37 hours per week during term time, plus 4 weeks in the school holidays (42 working weeks per year), and is fixed term for the term of the apprenticeship course, around 18 months. About you

The successful candidate must have a minimum of GCSE maths & English with grades A* - C or equivalent, have good working knowledge of ICT systems including word processing and spreadsheets and good communication skills both verbally and written. They should be flexible, adaptable, resilient and conscientious.
