Bristol Grade 10 - £35,142-£39,152 pro rata
Term time only + 5 INSET days
We are looking for an experienced BSL Interpreter to support Deaf and hard of hearing colleagues in school. The successful candidate will work with staff to enable an accessible working environment. The funding for this role is dependent on funding from Access to Work.
The applicant should have:
- Proven ability to interpret BSL/English and English/BSL
- The ability to work flexibly and to use own initiative
- The ability to travel between sites (BS7 0PU and BS10 5PY from April 27)
- High expectations
- Good spoken English skills
- Excellent organisational skills
As a minimum candidates will have completed NVQ Level 6 (or equivalent) and will be registered as an RSLI or TSLI.
A minimum of A-C GCSE English is required.
