NJC Scale Point 16 to 20 (£30,518 to £32,597 FTE) (actual salary £25,238 to £27,279 per annum)

35 hours per week, 40 weeks per year (term time + 10 days)



We are looking to recruit an Inclusion and Welfare Officer. This is an important role within our pastoral team - you will need a high degree of expertise in safeguarding and knowledge of how a wide variety of agencies support children and families. The Inclusion and Welfare officer is a Deputy DSL, working directly under the Principal, and is involved with all major safeguarding matters within school. The work you do is critical and will directly impact the life chances of children and families.

 

You would be joining and taking a leading role within a highly motivated, committed DSL and pastoral team who are highly experienced.

 

The role of Inclusion Officer involves working closely with families and school staff, alongside other partners, to support children to ensure they achieve their full potential

 

The successful candidate for this challenging and rewarding role will have excellent oral and written communication skills; be a clear thinker; outcome focussed; able to professionally challenge others; and have excellent safeguarding knowledge.

 

Collaborative multi-agency working is key to this role alongside being resilient and determined.
