What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and knowledgeable member of staff to our Inclusion team. Our team works hard to develop a strong provision of support for our pupils both with SEND and those requiring pastoral support. We have a positive reputation in the area for supporting vulnerable pupils and our school is expanding in number to 3 form entry and therefore we require a dedicated school based person to support our growing needs. We are looking for an experienced teaching assistant or HLTA with a strong knowledge of SEN types and a passion for supporting pupils with a range of needs. This role will be working alongside the current FLO and SEN assistant under the direction of the Inclusion Lead to provide effective support to pupils, staff, parents and in liaison with outside agencies.

Above all, we are seeking to appoint a hardworking, committed and reliable individual who is keen to develop themselves.

What the school offers its staff

Regis Manor Primary School is a growing school changing from a two form entry to three form entry primary school. We are based in the Milton Regis area of Swale on a large site with extensive playing fields and play areas.

The school’s ultimate aim is to ensure that all children leave well prepared for secondary school – this agenda is addressed by prioritising both well-being and learning. All children are taught phonics through the Read Write Inc. scheme and additional investments have been made in high quality guided reading, writing and numeracy resources. In addition, there is a range of extra-curricular activities and a variety of opportunities to develop a broad and enriching learning experience for all pupils.

High expectations are made of all pupils to achieve and attain the very best outcomes and visitors to the school often comment on its focused yet enjoyable learning environment. Strong community links and a supportive parent / carer body contribute to the school’s journey to provide an outstanding provision for all.

Regis Manor was judged “good” at our last Ofsted inspection in March 2018 and the school continues to improve and develop.

We can offer you:

  • A team of friendly, welcoming people to work collaboratively with, to plan and resource a creative curriculum.
  • A range of support from a strong leadership team that will help to develop your practice.
  • Excellent professional development opportunities both within the school and across the Academy Trust.
  • Local Government Pension Scheme – with a generous employer contribution;
  • Employee Assistance Programme – Wellbeing and advice;
  • Kent Rewards Scheme – local and national retailer discounts;
  • Employee Referral Recruitment Incentive.
