St. Peter’s Catholic Primary School is a warm and inclusive school in the centre of Gloucester. Due to the current Inclusion Leader securing a Headteacher post within our Trust, we are seeking an exceptional and ambitious Inclusion Leader (SENCo) to join our senior leadership team. This is a pivotal role for a passionate educator who is committed to ensuring that every child, regardless of need or background, is able to flourish.
About the Role
This is a unique and exciting role which will require the post holder to:
Lead inclusion across the school, including SEND, Pupil Premium, EAL, and vulnerable pupils
Act as the designated SENCo, ensuring statutory responsibilities are met
Drive high-quality adaptive teaching and supporting curriculum design
Help raise achievement and removing barriers for pupils
Lead and develop staff, including Teaching Assistants
Work closely with families, external agencies, and the wider Trust
