Inclusion Leader job summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic, organised Class Teacher to join our team, with additional responsibilities for leading Special Educational Needs provision across the school.

As our SENCO, you will play a vital role in identifying and addressing the diverse needs of our learners, working collaboratively with staff to develop and implement effective support strategies. You will be responsible for coordinating the provision of SEND across the school, overseeing the implementation and review of EHCPs and support plans, and maintaining strong, supportive relationships with parents and carers. Stanstead has strong connections with SEND external agencies and as part of the role you will liaise with a range of external agencies to ensure that pupils receive timely and appropriate support. Your leadership and guidance will be key in building staff confidence and capacity in inclusive practice, helping to foster a positive and nurturing learning environment for all. You will also take a lead role in attendance, playing a pivotal role in supporting families to ensure high attendance.
