Bridge Academy

Bridge Academy is a two campus Alternative Provision, part of Stephenson (MK) Trust where we are committed to building a strong foundation within our workforce in order to improve the life chances of each young person within our Academies. Our age range is 11-18 and we have an embedded induction programme and Initial Teacher Training scheme, as well as development within the Trust for support staff as well as teachers. Wellbeing is a high priority for us, for staff and students alike.

Inclusion Mentor - Bridge Academy

1 year fixed term contract to cover a Secondment

Salary: from SCP13-22, £25,222 - £29244 Actual, FTE Salary (£29,064 - £33,699)

Contract: TTO - 39 weeks, 37 hours

An individual who can support students in improving their behaviour and behaviour for learning within the academy.

An individual who can support inclusion interventions and line manage associated inclusion mentors.

A passionate leader of young people, who cares about holistic education and is willing to get involved with pastoral concerns impacting on every aspect of each young person’s life, as part of the daily routine

A mentor with the ability to be creative and use imaginative flair to engage our young people, helping them to be more resilient and access education more effectively.

A person skilled in building relationships with everyone, no-matter who they are and what their barriers to learning might be.

An understanding individual who can put themselves in other’s shoes but also communicate other perspectives, to enhance our students’ understanding of the world.

A team player, who can work well with staff and students alike and can communicate at the young person’s level in a calm and professional way.
