What skills and experience we're looking for

Do you believe that every young person deserves the chance to thrive, no matter the barriers they face?

Are you ready to make a difference – even if you’ve never worked in a school before?

Are you looking for a career with purpose?

If you answered yes, then we want to hear from you

At Lipson, we are a school at the heart of our community, driven by our mission to “transform lives, strengthen communities and make the world a better place.” As an Inclusion Provision Lead, you’ll be right at the centre of that mission.

This isn’t a job behind a desk. You’ll be:

  • Building trust and relationships with students who need a champion.
  • Supporting behaviour, attendance, and SEMH interventions.
  • Leading and supervising alternative provisions.
  • Helping students stay in lessons, achieve their best, and love coming to school.

You’ll also work closely with colleagues, sharing strategies and inspiring others as part of a dedicated inclusion team.

Staff survey results show that staff feel respected and listened to by their colleagues and leadership.

  • No school experience? No problem. We welcome people from all walks of life – youth workers, sports coaches, creatives, graduates, career-changers – anyone with the passion and resilience to support young people.
  • Be Part of Something Bigger. Join a vibrant, supportive team in a school that is committed to inclusion, kindness, and opportunity for all students.

"I had no previous experience working with children and was in fact a supermarket delivery driver before joining Lipson. From day 1 the training and support I received has been incredible. I have had all the guidance and nurturing required to become part of students' journeys at this amazing school. I have much to be thankful for." Calum
