Inclusion Support Assistant job summary
This is an ideal opportunity for a motivated individual with experience working in a school environment who has a desire to make a positive impact on children’s lives. The postholder will be working in our intervention area called ‘The Junction’.
The role will consist of working alongside teaching staff in an area which has been designed to create a ‘school within a school’ feel.
The successful candidate will be supporting some of our most vulnerable students and allowing them to access the curriculum, whilst also building positive relationships with the students. This will be a rewarding position in which you will be able to promote a love of learning and build confidence in the student’s abilities to succeed. The post holder will also be responsible for a range of administrative tasks to support the smooth running of The Junction including record keeping of work done and assisting with referral paperwork.
Working hours are 37 per week, term time only plus 2 additional weeks.
