Chepping View Primary Academy is seeking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Inclusion Support Teacher. This role is suitable for either an unqualified teacher or a recently qualified teacher. You will have excellent teamwork and communication skills, boundless patience, resilience and the ability and enthusiasm to make a difference.
The post holder will carry out teaching commitments across EYFS, KS1& KS2 and will contribute to Chepping View Primary Academy’s vision to work collaboratively to educate and nurture our community.
Job Description:
Main duties include:
- To support the SENDCo and wider senior leadership team in securing an outstanding education for all pupils with SEND and those requiring additional behaviour support at Chepping View Primary
- To advise and liaise with teachers, SLT, parents and other professionals on the provision to best meet the needs of the children with SEND and those requiring support to regulate their behaviours, including social interactions.
- To work as one of the Academy’s DSL focusing on specific pupils.
- To teach whole classes at the discretion of the Principal (up to 2 days).
- To live out Chepping View’s values and treat pupils and staff with dignity, building relationships rooted in mutual respect, and at all times observing proper boundaries appropriate to a teacher’s professional position.
