We are looking for a highly motivated, resilient, and compassionate Inclusion Support Worker to join our fantastic team.

We are recruiting ahead of a significant expansion that will see the school move from Scissett to Deighton an exciting time to be joining us.

The Role:

As an Inclusion Support Worker, you will be instrumental in:

  • 1:1 and Small Group Support: Working closely with individual students or small groups to support their engagement in learning, manage their emotional responses, and develop essential coping strategies.

  • Behaviour and Crisis Management: Implementing tailored support plans and positive behaviour strategies, providing de-escalation support during times of crisis, and helping students regulate their emotions.

  • Curriculum Access: Removing barriers to learning and assisting students in accessing a broad and balanced curriculum.

  • Liaison: Communicating effectively with teachers, parents/carers, therapists, and external agencies to ensure a consistent, holistic approach to student well-being.

  • Promoting Inclusion: Championing an inclusive atmosphere where every student feels safe, respected, and valued.

We Are Looking For Someone Who Is:

✅ Experienced in working with children or young people with SEMH, challenging behaviour, and/or complex needs.

✅ Resilient, empathetic, and patient, with a positive 'can-do' attitude.

✅ Able to establish strong, trusting, and professional relationships with students.

✅ A proactive team player with excellent communication skills.

✅ Committed to ongoing professional development and safeguarding.

✅ Holds GCSE Maths/ English or equivalent + a L3 qualification

SALARY/ HOURS
Starting salary for a ISW Inclusion Support Worker (Grade 7) is £22,604 actual annual salary (FTE = £29,540) working 32.5 hours per week Mon-Fri term time only + 5 inset days + amazing benefits working for our Wellspring trust
Working hours are 8.50am - 3.30pm (accept Tues & Thurs till 4.30pm for CPD and Friday 3.10pm)
