The role
We are looking for a strategic leader to bridge the gap between legal compliance and operational excellence. This is a dual-purpose role where you will act as the primary authority for data privacy, ensuring that the personal data of our students, staff, and parents is handled safely and transparently. The ideal applicant is a principled professional with experience in information governance, preferably within the public or education sectors. You possess the expert knowledge of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 required to advise the Trust, coupled with the integrity to maintain independence in your statutory duties. We need an analytical thinker who can translate complex legal requirements into simple, actionable guidance for our school leaders. You will manage our governance framework, from maintaining the Information Asset Register to Subject Access Requests. Beyond compliance, you will design trust-wide training programs and collaborate with our IT team to align technical security with data protection policies. Interested in making a difference?
