Information Services Manager job summary
Authentic Education is seeking a skilled and dependable Information Services Manager to join our central team, supporting academies across the Trust. This is a senior technical role, ideal for someone with strong third line ICT support experience and a collaborative, solutions-focused approach.
As Information Services Manager you'll work closely with the Senior Information Services Manager and the Director of Digital Development to maintain and evolve our network infrastructure, support teaching and learning through robust systems, and lead on key projects that enhance digital provision across our academies.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing high-level support across a range of information systems and networks
- Diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues, escalating where appropriate
- Leading and mentoring Information Services Technicians, ensuring consistent standards
- Planning and delivering systems upgrades, installations and integrations
- Supporting e-safety, network security and software analysis
- Deputising for network management duties when required
- Ensuring readiness of ICT suites and safeguarding data integrity through regular checks
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in third line ICT support, ideally within education or public sector settings
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure, software deployment and hardware maintenance
- A calm, methodical approach to troubleshooting and project delivery
- Confidence working independently and as part of a wider team
- Commitment to safeguarding, data protection and inclusive practice
