International Student Travel and UKVI Compliance Coordinator job summary

Position: International Student Travel and UKVI Compliance Coordinator

Location: On site, Westbury-on-Trym BS9 3BA

Hours: The post is offered as a full-time, all year-round role working 40 hours per week.

The closing date for this position will be Monday 10th October

The interviews for this position will be 17/18th October

International Student Travel and UKVI Compliance Coordinator

We are looking for an efficient and highly organised International Student Travel and UKVI Compliance Coordinator to support the school.

Main responsibilities include:

Travel for International Students

  • Arrange and confirm airport transfers at the beginning and the end of the term
  • Arrange and confirm travel arrangements for overseas exchange trips
  • Liaising with parents, agents and guardians to ensure clarity of arrangements

UKVI Compliance and Record Keeping

  • Work with the school’s UKVI agent representative (Sable International) to check the immigration status and right to study for all international students, both sponsored Child Student and non-sponsored students.
  • Monitor visa and passport expiry dates and follow up with families to ensure documentation remains valid.
  • Support the UKVI Authorising Officer with internal audits, inspections, and reporting.

Safeguarding and Student Welfare

  • Place safeguarding at the centre of all travel and compliance activities.
  • Escalate concerns regarding travel, missing documentation, or visa compliance to the Assistant Head (Boarding) and/or Designated Safeguarding Lead and UKVI Authorising Officer.

To be considered for this position, we are looking for the following:

  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Strong administrative skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise confidently with parents, guardians and external providers
  • Willingness to undertake training in safeguarding and compliance as required
