Intervention Teacher job summary

We are now seeking to recruit a full time Intervention teacher to join our school. This is an exciting opportunity to work in our outstanding well-being department.

The role will include planning and delivering high quality interventions to small groups and 1:1.

The Well-Being team is a highly cohesive team and we aim to reduce gaps academically and socially for our pupils. Our vision is for pupils to engage in a wide range of activities which will inspire them to lead healthy, active lives after they leave Dove House. Through curricular and extra-curricular activities, pupils will develop their social, communication and independence skills, resulting in them being confident, resilient and independent young people who are prepared for adulthood.

The successful candidate will not need to have experience with working with children with special needs as full training will be given but an empathy with them is essential. Dove House has a strong tradition of developing its own staff.
