What skills and experience we're looking for
Horbury Academy are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and engaging Intervention Tutor – Beauty Therapy to support an alternative curriculum. The successful candidate will provide pupils with the knowledge needed to gain alternative qualifications to those provided by the mainstream academy curriculum.
The successful applicant will develop and deliver high quality teaching and learning related activities ensuring that pupils are able to deliver a standard of work in line with awarding bodies qualification guidelines. Ideally you will have demonstratable industry experience as well as relevant teaching or tutoring qualifications.

Horbury is part of the Accord Multi Academy Trust which is a Wakefield based Trust; all four academies in the Trust are closely located to one another which lends itself to many opportunities to work closely and collaboratively. All academies are within a three-mile radius of one another and can be found a short drive off junction 40 of the M1.
Horbury Academy is a mixed, 11-16 academy, situated on the outskirts of Wakefield.
