North Durham Academy

We are looking for enthusiastic and engaging people with a good level of Maths knowledge to help tutor our students and support them in working towards their GCSE exams.

This opportunity would suit teaching students, other university students, people with previous teaching experience, such as retired teachers, or anyone with an up-to-date knowledge of Maths and a passion for inspiring our young people. You will need great communication skills to be able to explain difficult concepts clearly.

The hours are flexible across the school day and/or early evening (Monday to Friday) and can work around other commitments you may have. Your role will be based at North Durham Academy, Stanley, where you will work with small groups of students. The salary will depend on your previous experience and qualifications.
