Intervention Tutor job summary
Meadowhead School Academy trust have a fantastic opportunity for an Intervention Tutor to join our school.
You will deliver high-quality Functional Skills and GCSE-level tuition in Maths and English to small groups of high-needs students, supporting their academic progress and personal development.
You will be part of the wider Behaviour and Inclusion Team and contribute to behaviour support systems, including supervision duties, on-call duties and supervision of the internal suspension room.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is not required; however, strong subject knowledge and experience working with vulnerable or high-needs learners are essential.
The ideal candidate will:
- manage challenging behaviour consistently, confidently and calmly.
- have experience working with young people (ages 11-16)
- have strong communication and relationship-building skills.

- be highly organised with strong record-keeping skills.

Working Hours are 37 hours peek, Monday - Thursday, 8am - 4pm and 8am - 3.30pm on Fridays. Working 40 weeks per academic year.
