The Role: Interventions Lead

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 37 hours a week term time only. Monday to Thursday 8.00am till 4.00pm. Fridays 8.00am to 3.30pm

We couldn’t do what we do without our fantastic staff team, and we are looking for an we are seeking a passionate and driven Interventions Lead to join our secondary school in Swindon. This is a key role focused on supporting pupils to overcome barriers to learning through targeted interventions and meaningful enrichment opportunities.

You will lead on the planning, coordination and evaluation of interventions and student experiences that improve engagement, attendance, behaviour and outcomes—particularly for vulnerable and disadvantaged students.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of targeted interventions to support pupil progress and wellbeing
  • Coordinate and enhance student enrichment and experiences, including trips, workshops and wider opportunities
  • Work closely with pastoral leaders, SENCo and teaching staff to identify and support pupils with additional needs
  • Track and evaluate the impact of interventions using data
  • Build positive relationships with students, families and external agencies
  • Contribute to a whole-school culture of inclusion, aspiration and success
