Join Our Team as an IT Systems Engineer!
Are you a friendly, tech-savvy problem solver who enjoys helping others? We’re looking for an IT Systems Engineer to join our team at Creating Tomorrow Trust!
If you have 1-2 years of experience in network management and IT support and are excited to make a difference in a meaningful role, we’d love to meet you!
In this role, you’ll work primarily at Windmill Hill School in Luton and The Gateway School in Tiffield, where you’ll support schools that serve students with special educational needs. You’ll be part of a collaborative, close-knit IT team dedicated to making technology work smoothly for everyone in our schools.
What’s Exciting About This Role?
As part of our Trust, you’ll have the chance to make a real impact every day. You’ll help ensure that teachers, students, and staff have the tech support and equipment they need, keeping systems running smoothly and providing a first-class experience in the classroom and beyond. You’ll also have plenty of opportunities to use your expertise and grow your skills with room for autonomy and flexibility to find creative solutions to IT challenges.
Here’s part of what you’ll get up to:
- Support our IT Business Partner and the team in maintaining and troubleshooting hardware and software across the Trust’s sites.
- Make sure everyone has secure, consistent access to our network, so students and staff can focus on learning.
- Assist with setting up and managing user access across the network, helping keep everyone connected and secure.
- Provide helpful, friendly support to teachers and staff, answering questions, and guiding them with new technologies.
- Help find cost-effective solutions that make a difference for our schools and their IT needs.
What We’re Looking For
- A self-starter who is patient, approachable, and ready to roll up their sleeves to help out.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and an enjoyment of solving puzzles – no two days are the same here!
- Someone who enjoys teamwork, can prioritize effectively, and can jump into new tasks with a positive attitude.
- Willingness to travel between school sites within the Trust, a driving licence and own transport is required.
Why You’ll Love Working with Us
- We offer plenty of room to grow and develop your skills, with ongoing training and opportunities for career progression.
- You’ll be part of a Trust that’s committed to using technology to empower learning and make a difference for students and staff.
If you’re ready to bring your IT skills to a role where you’ll be valued, appreciated, and part of something bigger, we’d love to hear from you!
