An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Apprentice IT Technician to join our Network Support team at Bohunt School Worthing. The successful candidate will be required, with assistance, to deliver exceptional customer service as part of our highly regarded Network Support Team to ensure that a seamless IT service is delivered to the entire school community.
This covers the provision, care and maintenance of computing, audio visual and telephone equipment, services and support. Training on the job will be provided as well as access to agreed Level 3 Apprenticeship training.
Initially this will be a junior position but there will be an opportunity to progress once more experience is gained.
The ideal candidate will be friendly, polite, hardworking, reliable and have a good telephone manner. You will need to be good at working under pressure and have a positive attitude. A minimum of 5 GCSEs (grade C/5 or above) including Maths and English are essential (and ideally a GCSE Grade C/5 in IT Computing). Qualifications and/or knowledge of Goggle applications, including Google workspace suite, are desirable. A high level of computer literacy is needed for this post.

Bohunt School Worthing is based in a central location in Worthing; a coastal town on the South Coast in West Sussex. With easy access to the A27; centrally between Chichester and Brighton, and also the A24 and the A23. We are well served by public transport, with a train station within walking distance and a bus route on our doorstep.
