What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking an enthusiastic, capable and effective IT Technician to join our hardworking IT technical team. The role of IT Technician is to play an important role in the life of the school and be a fully integrated member of staff. Previous experience of working within an educational setting would be desirable. The ability to communicate with a wide variety of people is essential

Offering guidance and support to users

Good problem solving capabilities

Good written and oral communication skills

Good organisational skills

Ability to develop a good working relationship with a wide range of client staff.

A comprehensive grasp of the legal, security, and ethical considerations associated with the implementation of ICT systems.

Ability to work to tight deadlines.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Ability to work with a minimum of supervision.

We are a stand-alone academy, which is proud to have retained its identity at the heart of the community.
