The Role
The IFtL IT team are expanding and we have an exciting opening for an IT technician to join our forward-thinking and innovative trust who work across Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas. This role represents the next step in our vision to create a trust-wide IT Support Team.
The successful candidate will be joining Inspiring Futures through Learning at an exciting time, with several projects well underway that will develop and enhance the experiences of both our colleagues and our learners. We are in the process of upgrading the network infrastructure across our new schools that have recently joined IFtL, and we have fantastic plans to introduce new hardware and software to our learners in what is just one part of a multi-year strategic vision to invest in immersive learning technologies that strengthen engagement and learning for each child. This is a continuation in our Futures project.
IFtL is seeking to expand its IT provision to become a self-sustaining support model that is as proactive as it is reactive, and, if successful, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a hybrid working model where you are based centrally at the IFtL IT office, as well as remotely as you travel to our school sites. You will be assisting all our colleagues, and occasionally pupils, in all aspects of IT. You will have the opportunity to learn new skills and further enhance your own career development.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and successful multi academy trust within the Milton Keynes and Northants Region. IFtL has a great history of success and a bright and exciting future. We are looking for an ambitious and dynamic person to join us and help develop our IT support during the next stage of its development.
If you are passionate about people, thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment, and are looking to make a difference in the education sector, we would love to hear from you. To find out more about this role please contact Central HR team on centralhrteam@iftl.co.uk.
Please see the job description for further details.
