Be part of a team where passion meets purpose, as we work together where the challenge is greatest, to change to lives and build the futures of children and young people.

At Ormiston Academies Trust, we are looking for two enthusiastic IT Technicians with strong communication skills to support our staff and students across several sites in west London. The role will be primarily based at Ormiston Bridge Academy but it is vital that the successful candidate is able and willing to travel across all of our London sites. The role of IT Technician includes first and some second line technical support, with the opportunity to be involved in the implementation of our cloud-first programme. IT Technicians are critical to developing strong, effective relationships with our staff and role will be instrumental in the management of cloud-first projects, providing technical direction, support and guidance to technicians and staff, as well as working closely with senior staff at each site to align technology to their ambitions for delivering excellent education to their community of families, carers, and young people.

This is a fantastic time to join the growing IT team at Ormiston Academies Trust. We believe that technology is crucial to the success of our pupils and staff, and our technology strategy is designed to deliver a highly responsive, highly adaptable IT service that meets the ongoing requirements of our academies and central teams. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with people, and developing their technical skills in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in providing IT support in a workplace environment.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting hardware, software, and devices (desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, mobiles).
  • Confident using Microsoft 365, Azure, Teams, SharePoint, and Active Directory.
  • Able to explain technical information clearly to non-technical users.
