Join our team and be part of something extraordinary. We're seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our growing team at Lift Schools. As an IT Technician, you'll play a vital role in providing our schools with IT technical support and guidance across four schools in our Staffordshire region enabling our schools to deliver educational excellence. As an IT technician at Lift Schools, you will be; personable and interact with the school staff positively helping to build positive relationships. Able seek out solutions to the day-to-day technical issues that each school is facing, seeking long term fixes and looking for opportunities where we could improve infrastructure or devices. Be a keen advocate for edTech and the use of AI to reduce workload/enhance teaching provision. What you'll do: * Provide technical support: Assist schools with their IT needs and accessibility. Showcase and champion technologies that support classroom delivery. * Collaborate with the team: Work alongside experienced IT colleagues to deliver exceptional support to schools to enable them to deliver the very best classroom experience to students. We're looking for an individual who: * Is passionate about IT: Have a genuine interest in technology and its applications. * Have experience in an IT Technician or similar role hardware/software, (within a School or large public sector organisation would be advantageous but not essential) * Is a team player: Enjoy working collaboratively and supporting others. * Can prioritise: able to organise and manage their own time effectively. * Is a confident communicator: able to communicate and demonstrate optimum hardware and software use in a simplified way. * Is able to problem-solve & troubleshoot: Diagnose the problem by ruling out root causes. * Can be proactive & solution-oriented: look for opportunities where we could improve infrastructure or devices * Has experience within cloud computing: familiarity with cloud technologies. * Is eager to learn: They desire to develop their skills and knowledge. * Has a driving licence: and have access to a car to travel between our school sites. Our Curriculum

Lift Tamworth is a successful, high-achieving secondary school where everyone is given the opportunity to do their best, whatever their background or ability.

Our inclusive curriculum provides opportunities for success for all our students, at all levels of ability. Extensive links with primary schools help to ease the transition process.

We are proud of our provision for children with special needs. On entry, students attainment levels are studied carefully and used to place students in teaching sets for all subjects except for PE. These sets are reviewed throughout the year and changes are made based on the students' progress, interim assessments and teacher judgements.

Student progress is monitored through informal and formal assessment in each curriculum area, and parents are kept informed through regular effort and progress checks.

The Curriculum is further strengthened by a variety of intervention/support strategies to ensure that the Curriculum is relevant and accessible for all students.
