IT Technician job summary

As an IT Technician, you’ll be at the heart of our digital operations, providing high-quality 1st and 2nd line technical support. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and repairing IT equipment and systems
  • Supporting cloud platforms (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365)
  • Assisting with classroom technology and learning platforms
  • Managing user accounts and network access
  • Supporting staff with IT training and troubleshooting
  • Helping maintain our online presence (website, social media)
We’re looking for someone who is:
  • Technically confident with IT hardware, software, and cloud systems
  • A great communicator who can support users of all abilities
  • Organised, calm under pressure, and a natural problem-solver
  • A team player with a proactive and collaborative attitude

Essential Qualifications

  • GCSEs in Maths and English or equivalent
  • Experience with IT systems in an educational or similar setting is desirable
