IT Technician job summary

We cater for pupils between the ages of 2 and 19 with a range of learning difficulties and disabilities, on specialist sites and in mainstream partnership schools.

Whether you’re solving a technical challenge, setting up equipment for learners or staff or helping a colleague with their digital tools, your work will have a direct, meaningful impact every day.

We are looking for an IT Technician who wants to make a difference. Someone who understands that when technology works well, it can transform the learning experience—especially for pupils with additional needs. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring that our digital systems are reliable, secure, and aligned with the needs of our staff and learners. You’ll be a valued part of a friendly, professional team that supports every aspect of school life, helping our young people achieve their full potential.


We are looking for an organised and efficient individual who works well with a wide range of people, including staff, pupils, and visitors, and who can explain complex concepts in simple terms while making IT accessible and effective for our users.
