Janitor job summary

You will be expected to take responsibility for site-related matters associated with painting and decorating works, including the preparation, maintenance, and finishing of surfaces to a high standard. Duties will also involve site related matters including the provision of maintenance, janitorial, and cleaning services, ensuring work areas are kept clean, safe, and well-organised throughout each project.

You will be able to resolve problems as they arise, prioritise tasks effectively, work on your own initiative, and take pride in delivering quality workmanship in all aspects of painting and decorating.

To be successful in the role, you should be able to demonstrate good literacy and numeracy skills. Previous experience in painting and decorating, as a caretaker, or experience in the building trade is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
