About the role

This is a fixed term temporary contract starting in January 2026 - 31st August 2026. The hours are Monday - Thursday.

  • Be responsible for the learning and achievement of all pupils in the classes ensuring equality of opportunity for all.
  • Be responsible and accountable for achieving the highest possible standards in work and conduct.
  • Treat pupils with dignity, building relationships rooted in mutual respect, and at all times observing proper boundaries appropriate to a teacher’s professional position.
  • Work proactively and effectively in collaboration and partnership with learners, parents/carers, governors, other staff and external agencies in the best interests of pupils.

    Who we are looking for:

    • Qualified teacher status
    • Expertise in Literacy and Phonics
    • Evidence of sustained participation in INSET/CPD
    • Experience of teaching in KS1
    • Demonstrable evidence of high standards of class teaching
    • Practical understanding of effective teaching and evaluation strategies
    • An understanding of good inclusive education
    • Understanding/experience of using programmes such as RWI, Talk 4 Writing etc.
    • Committed to promoting the welfare of all children and creating a safe environment in which children can learn; considering, at all times, what is in the best interests of the child.
    • Show energy, enthusiasm and commitment to pursuing their career within the Trust
