THE LOCATION
The small village of Ivington is situated approximately two miles from Leominster, an attractive market town in Herefordshire. There is a wide variety of good-quality local housing available in the town and good local amenities.
THE SCHOOL
Ivington C of E Primary School is situated within the village, opposite the small church of St John. The school is part of a richly rural environment and is proud of its close links with the local community.
There are currently 126 pupils on roll. Although numbers have dropped generally in Herefordshire, so far this school has not been particularly affected. The school’s catchment area consists of the small village and surrounding rural settlements, so the majority of the pupils travel to school from Leominster and therefore live out of catchment.
The school’s last Ofsted inspection was in July 2019 and the post Ofsted plan is being put into effect. The last SIAMs inspection took place in February 2018.
For further information about the school, including the most recent brochure, Ofsted and SIAS reports, please see our website: www.ivington.hereford.sch.uk.
Ivington School places the highest priority on safeguarding our pupils and safeguarding issues are always discussed at interview. For more information, our safeguarding policy can be found on the school website.
