Aim and main purpose of the job:
Teachers make the education of their pupils their first concern and are accountable for achieving the highest possible standards in work and conduct, including through their form tutor responsibilities. Teachers act with honesty and integrity; have strong subject knowledge, keep their knowledge and skills as teachers up-to-date and are self-critical; forge positive professional relationships; and work with parents in the best interests of their pupil. Teachers should:
Maximise the achievement of all children in your care.
Be responsible for children’s safety and welfare.
Assist in the development of the ever-growing school.
Promote the aims, values and vision of the school and maintain its philosophy of education.
