The Role

As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping confident, curious, and resilient learners by delivering high-quality teaching that inspires and challenges all pupils.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, creative, and well-sequenced lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum

  • Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where every child can thrive

  • Using assessment effectively to inform planning, support progress, and raise attainment

  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community

  • Contributing to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities, events, and initiatives

About You

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification

  • Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1

  • Demonstrate a genuine passion for helping every child achieve their very best

  • Possess excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills

  • Be committed to professional development, reflective practice, and high standards
