Key Stage 2 Class Teacher job summary

This is a full-time teaching role in UKS2. However, for us, it is about employing the right candidate for the role which means we will accept part time applications for the right person. It is initially a fixed term contract from January 2026 to August 2026 with potential to be extended subject to needs of the school.

We are looking for someone who:

Has strong knowledge of the school curriculum

Is a learner themselves, open to development and committed to keeping on top of current thinking in education

Works well as part of a team and as an individual teacher in a 1-form-entry school

Has very high expectations of behaviour and is committed to establishing positive relationships with every child
