We require someone who:

  • Can effectively plan, develop and evaluate high quality lessons and be able to lead the planning and delivery of small-group intervention sessions as and when appropriate
  • Supports the schools vision and values
  • Displays a clear vision and passion in their teaching and can motivate those around them.
  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, organisation and communication skills.

Selwood Academy are seeking a teacher who will inspire our pupils as part of a team which leads the way in teaching and learning and contributes to a successful school which actively promotes and values professional development.

Our Latest OFSTED report from June 2022 shares how ‘Pupils are friendly and polite. Pupils know what is expected of them. They enjoy learning about a wide range of subjects. Pupils listen carefully to teachers and respond well to their questions. Pupils conduct themselves well.’ As a school we are very proud of the pupils we have and their attitudes to learning.
