What skills and experience we're looking for

Livingstone Academy Bournemouth (LAB) is an innovative new school for children aged 4 to 18 which opened in September 2021 in the heart of Bournemouth. Our ambition is to ensure that all young people leave school equipped with the skills and knowledge to thrive in their future lives and careers in the digital age. Young people must be creative, critical thinkers who can create technology as well as consume it.

This is a unique role which is suited to an individual who has the ability to andenjoys building strong classroom relationships with their students. Although you will have a specific area of subject expertise, you will be adaptable and able to deliver in multiple areas of the curriculum. You will work closely within a team of teachers, with allocated time, to develop curriculum and resources.

Ideally, you will have experience of teaching in upper KS2 or KS3 and have good subject knowledge across the curriculum, teaching English, maths, humanities and personal development & wellbeing to your class, as well as time in the ‘Creator Space’.
