What skills and experience we're looking for

The Role

We are looking to appoint a keen subject specialist to work with the Head of Faculty to lead our drive to raise attainment and achievement.

We are looking for a colleague to contribute to leading the success of the department, being passionate about giving our students the best classroom experiences to enhance their learning; who has the ability to maintain and develop our high standards and to provide support, stretch, and challenge for all our learners, as well as support and leadership for staff.

This post is suitable for a practitioner who is keen to enhance their experience by leading key stage 4 in an innovative department. We are committed to professional development for all staff, including the opportunity to be involved in school-based research.

This post is 100% FTE.


We're looking for you if you have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Ability to teach Maths across the full attainment range in years 7-11
  • The ability to track and analyse performance data to inform curriculum planning and intervention
  • The desire, knowledge and skills to motivate staff and students to raise attainment and achievement at Key Stage 4.
  • A passion for teaching and making a real difference to young people
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
