PERMANENT POST
MPS/UPS and TLR 2A £3,391 - WITH UP TO 1 EXTRA FREE PERIOD PER WEEK
Take responsibility for the progress and attainment of KS5 students. Support, monitor and track KS5 teaching and learning, ensuring work is challenging.
Performing the role will entail:
- Leading on curriculum design to include specification requirements and strategies to help with memory retention to improve attainment.
- Reporting on performance of Year 12 and 13 students for English Language, English Literature and media studies to the Head of Department at regular intervals throughout the year.
- Planning, implementing and monitoring the impact of interventions at KS5.
- Ensure KS5 students’ learning experiences are outstanding by leading learning and teaching for post 16 students in the department.
- Lead on students’ transition from KS4 to KS5.
- Be responsible for ensuring the completion of all data tracking systems by team members.
