Key Stage Leader job summary
St John’s Marlborough is a high performing academy and a key member of the highly effective Excalibur Academies Trust. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Key Stage Leader of Maths to join a high achieving, supportive faculty. We are looking for a candidate to work with the Head of Mathematics to lead the development and delivery of a knowledge-rich curriculum at the relevant key stage that is exciting, creative, and diverse. The successful candidate will be a passionate practitioner who is confident teaching across the ability range. They will have a keen interest in the latest research and theory around the teaching of mathematics.
As a Key Stage Maths Co-Ordinator, you will be responsible for:
Leading appropriate curricular development to ensure that it is engaging and current.
Leading the review and development of schemes of work to fit the Key Stage specification, working alongside teaching staff and supporting the team to deliver high standards of teaching.
Leading, along with others, evaluating and further developing teaching and learning and the materials available in the department, in consultation with colleagues.
The Maths faculty, as well as the rest of the Academy, performs at a high level and it has a clear focus on students making excellent progress.
