We are seeking to appoint an ambitious, highly motivated class teacher to join our hard working team in key stage 1 or 2. We seek commitment, professionalism, productivity and a passion for putting the children first.

Qualified Teacher Status
Evidence of relevant CPD and commitment to further professional development
An interest in a subject specialism may be useful

Essential qualifications

Have a personal drive and commitment to be the best that they can be and provide the best experiences for the children in their class.

Essential skills and experience

The class teacher should have knowledge of
the theory and practice of effective teaching & learning for the individual needs of all children including EAL SEN Able & Talented (eg classroom organisation and learning strategies)
Be aware of National Curriculum requirements at the appropriate keystage
Be able to monitor assess record and report on pupils’ progress
The Class Teacher will be able to:
Promote the school’s vision and values positively and use effective strategies to monitor motivation and morale
Deploy other adults appropriately
Create a happy challenging imaginative and effective learning environment establishing high expectations
Implement effective classroom management and organisation
Have good inter-personal skills
Develop good personal relationships with parents governors and the community
Have good ICT skills
Communicate effectively (both orally and in writing) to a variety of audiences
