Kitchen Assistant job summary

The Trustees at Victorious Academies Trust would like to appoint a Kitchen Assistant role at Poplar Street Primary School, Ravenwood Drive, Audenshaw, Manchester, M34 5EF.

To start November 2025 to 31st August 2026 or on the return of the postholder whichever is the soonest

The Kitchen Assistant full-time salary £24,413

This role is temporary, part-time 7.5 hour per week – Term Time Only with an actual salary £4,352 (Grade A – Scale Point 2)

Victorious Trust Academy are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking Catering Assistant to work as part of a team within the school who provide high quality, nutritious meals to pupils and staff.

Must have a friendly disposition, be willing to work as part of a team and help were needed. Must be willing to take undertake any job requested and work flexibly.

Duties include:

• serving pupils

• general cleaning

• assisting the Kitchen Manager as required.

Uniforms will be provided.
