Kitchen Assistant job summary

Kitchen Assistant required

We are looking to appoint a Catering Assistant to work as part of our busy catering team at Potter Street Academy.

The successful candidate will be required to carry out general kitchen duties including preparation and serving of school meals to staff and children, clearing away, cleaning and washing up duties. You will need to demonstrate good teamwork skills, can be flexible as well as being someone who enjoys working with children.

Level 2-food safety is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.

Potter Street Academy is a primary school sponsored by the Passmores Cooperative Learning Community. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a rapidly improving school and make a real difference to children’s futures.

15 hours per week, 38 weeks per year.

Salary: Scale 1 point 2 = £8,503.69 pro rata per annum including fringe allowance.
