Sundorne Infant School is looking to appoint a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our hardworking catering team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in helping provide healthy meals for students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with food preparation and serving meals
- Keeping the kitchen clean, safe and organised
- Washing dishes and kitchen equipment
- Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures
- Assist with the preparation and clearing of the school hall before and after lunchtime
- Supporting the cook and wider catering team as needed
The Successful Candidate Will:
- Be friendly, approachable and able to work well as part of a team
- Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Take pride in their work and pay attention to detail
- Good hygiene standards and attention to detail
- Previous kitchen or catering experience is helpful but not essential.
