Kitchen Assistants / Mid-Day Supervisor job summary
Are you caring, patient, and looking to make a difference in children’s daily school lives?
At Haydon Abbey, lunchtime is a highlight of the day! It’s a vital time for our pupils to socialise, enjoy our brand-new hall, and refuel for afternoon learning. We are looking for an enthusiastic new member to join our friendly kitchen team and help make every lunch hour a success.
What you’ll be doing: Working on a rota basis, you will help create a positive dining environment by:
Setting up the dining hall and ensuring it’s clean and ready for afternoon lessons.
Serving school lunches and supporting children as they eat.
Encouraging great table manners and social skills.
Assisting with washing up and keeping the kitchen area tidy.
Helping maintain our first aid resources.
About you: No previous experience? No problem! We value personality over a CV. We are looking for someone self-motivated and positive who genuinely enjoys working with children.
The Details:
Pay: £12.33 per hour (Bucks Pay Range 1, Point 5).
Hours: 3 hours per day (shifts scheduled between 10:30 am and 2:30 pm).
